Australian native, Peter D. Fleming is fortunate to have found his passion for design very early in life. He remains, after more than twenty years in practice, very enthusiastic about the opportunities for creative expression through design on a daily basis.
Residential design, with an emphasis on customized interior spaces and furnishings, is his specialty and providing specific designs tailored to fit each client’s needs is at the forefront of service. Although residential is his passion, Peter has quite an impressive list of commercial experience, including a private NHL owner’s suite sky box, a Hawker private jet, hospitality at various scales, and executive suites.
After attending Auburn University (BID 1994), he was drawn to New York City where his formal education continued through study at the Institute for Classical Architecture and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. While in New York, Peter was fortunate to have worked in the office of Robert A.M. Stern, current Dean of the Yale School of Architecture and head of RAMSA in New York City. Peter has also worked directly with the talented Bobby McAlpine and as a studio head for his interiors office in Nashville. He also has been on the faculty at O’More College of Design in Franklin, Tennessee.
Peter is currently using his skills and collaborating on extraordinary projects with the talented team at Pfeffer Torode. A thoughtful, generous clientele encourages the team’s dedication to quality design.
Aside from work, Peter shares a wonderful life with his talented wife, Audrey and their young son Beckett.
